Twin Line Velo’s ripe for success in 2011…thanks to new sponsor Porter Farms, Inc.

Porter Farms, a third-generation, family-operated vegetable farm in Elba, NY (Genesee County) provides fresh, chemical-free produce through their Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. It’s the easiest way to bring the season’s bounty directly to your table, providing vegetables the way nature intended them to be. The idea is simple: individuals share the costs, risks and bounty of growing food in an environmentally-friendly fashion. CSA participants, through their membership, help pay for seeds, compost, irrigation supplies, equipment maintenance, fuel, labor, etc. In return, the farm provides, to the best of its ability, 22 weeks of fresh, certified organic produce throughout the growing season … and the cycling season.

Check them out at www.porterfarms.org.

Twin Line Velo, grateful for the support of Porter Farms, knows a healthy diet of fruits and vegetables will definitely contribute to a bountiful cycling season. And while we’ll proudly display the Porter Farms logo on our newly designed kits, we’ll also be sure to protect our melons in style.
